About

I’m Eka, a content quality specialist, senior editor, and SEO copywriter based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

I’ve spent the last 10 years moving between content QA, copyediting, SEO copywriting, and doing English-Indonesian translation work, which really just means I’ve learned to care about the small stuff other people skip past.

I help companies improve their content quality, maintain content consistency, reduce rework, and deliver polished final content. My goal is to turn messy content workflows into reliable systems that make teams work more efficiently and raise the content quality bar.

What I can bring to a company:

  • Style guide development and compliance across editorial and content teams
  • Content QA system built to scale past what one editor can manually catch
  • Copywriting and content optimization (SEO/AEO/GEO/AIO), informed by tools like SEMrush and MOZ
  • Editorial review workflows that catch problems before final delivery
  • Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and design teams, so quality standards hold across departments, not just one

Words that fill the page do the work.

So here’s my story.

As a content quality specialist lead at Melbourne-based Life Management Science Labs (LMSL), I closely worked with a team of graphic designers and rebuilt the Creative department’s content QA guidelines. The guidelines became the Creative department’s standard reference. This helped the team hit 36 course modules and 12 research vaults a month (50% and more than double the respective targets consistently) without quality slipping.

At LMSL, I also mentored 5 junior content QA specialists, and collaborated with Marketing, Instructional Design, and Product teams so QA didn’t sit as a bottleneck at the end of the pipeline.

Before LMSL, I worked as a senior copyeditor at London-based startup Origin Hope Media Group. I spent a stretch writing everything and copyediting for B2B and B2C clients, from esports coverage to long-form blog posts, including pieces for Indonesian major English-language news outlet The Jakarta Post and sustainability-focused Scandinavian startups.

I like work that sits between language and structure, making sure something is not just well-written, but well-built and accessible. These days that’s pulling me toward UX writing and content design, with a focus on accessibility, information structure, and content standards that scale.

When I’m not on keyboard…

I enjoy Tolkien’s books, deep song lyrics, playing the guitar, going to art exhibitions, and having slow coffee or tea time. Happy to connect for professional opportunities, content conversations, or just a chat about design, stories, and everyday small joys. ✨
